2007-2015 Chevy Silverado 2 Inch Front Coil Springs

The new Chevy trucks and suv’s are equipped with a front suspension known as a “McPherson Strut”. This basically takes the coil spring and shock and combine into one part. The good news is you can change the spring on your strut and lower your truck. It’s pretty easy to get the strut out of the truck but be careful and follow instructions when you remove the spring because it is under pressure in the strut. You need to “unload ” the spring using a spring compressor so you can safely change the spring!
